Seven- Stage Design 1

Seven is a new show about international women who rose from their own circumstances to make changes in their communities and countries. The design focuses on the feminine role of fabric in many of the cultures, while also inviting the audience to participate with the story by completing the circle of the stage with the seating. The fabric also enables interesting projections for lighting which are called for in the script.

Mary Poppins-Design for High school Production

Mary Poppins is a huge production to take on for a high school and the design attempted to simplify transitions as well as minimize offstage pieces due to very small wings at the performance venue. The venue is also rented only for final dress rehearsal and performances so the set needed to be small enough pieces to move with one box truck and easy to assemble quickly onsite. The high school ultimately rented sets and the design remained in drafting stages.
