A House Full of Letters
|
In a cold, desolate wasteland a small group of townsfolk develop into a family as they search for hope in the face of an oppressive government "Utopia."
Design Concept: Much of this design leaned into the cold stark barrenness of the world around the trading store. Whites and blues fed into the cold environment outside. But, as they began to build hope together, the world in their little store brightened and warmed around them, until tragedy strikes. |
Medieval Short Play Festival
The Creation and Fall of Lucifer
Co-lighting design with Ethan Ruhl, Beverly Wagner and Ryan Wheeler. Due to the nature of the festival each lighting team found unique ways to set their show apart. Design Concept:
The Director focused on the angels being either butterflies or moths. Going off this concept the team of lighting designers gave heaven a warm smooth natural day light with cloud gobos for some texture. In contrast Hell shifted to a cold, stark night tone with the light columns functioning as bug zappers, flickering with a pale, chilling blue. |
